About Keto
Founded in 2015 by costume maker Peggy Jackson and ballet dancer Jacob Sofer, Keto was born in Melbourne, Australia from a shared vision to redefine dancewear. Drawing from years of hands-on experience in both costume design and professional ballet, we create garments that seamlessly merge performance, style, and innovation.
Keto collections offer a fresh perspective on dance fashion, blending modern graphics, engineered prints, and contemporary silhouettes with precision tailoring. Produced in limited runs, each release is thoughtfully designed to provide dancers with exclusive, fashion-forward pieces not found in traditional dancewear stores.
Worn by some of the world’s finest professional dancers, Keto is trusted in the studio, on stage, and beyond. In addition to our core collections, we also specialise in textile design and are frequently commissioned, working with major productions and companies worldwide to bring artistic visions to life. Our bespoke uniform solutions offer dance schools custom-designed alternatives to off-the-shelf options, ensuring both individuality and excellence.
At the same time, our focus has expanded beyond traditional dancewear. Driven by a desire to solve long-standing problems in performance garments, we have developed a new generation of men’s support wear, led by our re-engineered dance belt. Built from the ground up, it challenges conventional construction through a uniquely shaped internal structure designed to deliver consistent support, freedom of movement, and a clean, invisible silhouette under tights.
This shift marks a broader evolution for Keto. What began as a fashion-led dancewear label is becoming a platform for technical innovation - creating products that not only look refined, but fundamentally perform better.
With a dedication to craftsmanship, problem-solving, and creative expression, Keto continues to push the boundaries of what dancewear can be, empowering dancers to move with confidence, authenticity, and an edge that’s distinctly their own.
